What do Ck One want to portray within their make-up brand?
After researching Calvin Klein as the whole brand, I really got a feel of what it was really about, why they used certain concepts within their ads and the style they are iconically known for. Their ads are sexy, most have a shock value, in which gets the audiences attention, without that shock value it's hard to sell products when no one really notices your ad. Their style all together from hair, makeup and styling. Effortless, elegant on the runway, seductive on screen.
I felt it was important to research into the brand Calvin Klein itself, I feel the history of every concept created from Calvin Klein reflects upon their cosmetics today.

I wanted to research into the Ck One Colour cosmetics a little more, before creating my looks. I found inspiration from various catwalks, different looks from Ck One Cosmetics and influences from general make-up research. But thought I would touch upon the concept of Ck One a little more, I had briefly spoken about what they have created and why.
As stated when reviewing the brand, I mentioned how they want to enhance real beauty, add intensity and define yourself.
When researching into the beauty brand, I honestly did found it hard to find reviews that were really valued. It seems there are a TON of videos/images of Calvin Klein clothing/fragrance/underwear everywhere from years of advertising etc. However, when searching for the makeup brand on Calvin Klein YouTube channel there was no videos that related to Ck One cosmetics, only the Ck One fragrances.
Luckily, I managed to find some videos that actually give you examples of what their slogan really means! (Define yourself, Add intensity, Look Real) The videos haven't even reached more than 500 views. They are posted from the Beauty Bulletin YouTube channel.
I feel maybe there is not much information behind the beauty brand is due to the fact that it was released so recent compared to the iconic products from the collection of Calvin Klein.
However there are many beauty articles and blogs that have discussed and fussed over the release of Ck One Cosmetics, which I will discuss in later posts.

Ck One Cosmetics produced a line of cosmetics that help you enhance your natural beauty and 'look real'. Certain products help you create a look that is natural with light weight cream products and neutral colours.
