Of course when creating a look with bold lips, I want that to be the main feature of the look, the first aspect of the make-up that you see. Effortless everywhere else yet a statement lip.
Above are some screen shots from the Jeans ad by Calvin Klein, which actually got banned as some stated it seemed like the start of amateur porn. The reasons I picked these shots, as I loved how comfy and natural the shots look. Almost like it was real life, and these models were not acting at all. Again what I want to portray in this shot.
As I have stated in previous posts, Calvin Klein is sometimes very effortless within styling and make-up. For example, his catwalks the hair is put up in a messy low ponytail and miminal make-up. Again in many of the ads for Calvin Klein jeans, the models look very seductive yet so effortless! Therefore I wanted to portray that aspect into my image and ensure my model creates the right poses to ensure the image gives off the right vibe.
I also love how the the Ck One cosmetics focuses on one colour in some of their ads which creates a certain mood and style.
